  Farm Road - Non-profit 76 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. Includes physical, occupational and speech therapy; dietary services; dental and podiatry treatments and social work. Priority is given to New Canaan residents, their close relatives and dependents and former New Canaan residents.

• Silver Hill Hospital
  208 Valley Road - Non profit private 79 bed psychiatric and substance abuse facility.

• New Canaan Volunteer Ambulance Corp. Operates 24 hours a day. Emergency medical care and transportation for all who need assistance.
• Norwalk, Stamford, St. Joseph and Greenwich Hospitals are all within a ten to twenty minute car ride.

• Waveny Park
  300 acres with paddle courts, volley ball, softball, baseball and soccer fields, jogging trails and lots of open space for free interpretation.
• Mead Memorial Park
  24.5 acres with two Little League fields, one regulation sized baseball field, a playground and lighted tennis courts. Its pond has become a popular ice skating spot.
• Kiwanis Park
  12.6 acres with swimming pond and playground.
• Mill Pond
  10 acres providing a peaceful spot for ducks and people. Police Athletic League stocks the pond with fish for an annual children's Fish Derby.
• Lee Memorial Gardens
  3 acres of woodland gardens entrusted by the late George Lee to the Garden Center of New Canaan.
• Bliss Park
  40 acre natural space donated to the town in 1959 by Susan Dwight Bliss. There are two miles of nature trails.
• New Canaan Nature Center
  Located in Bliss Park just north of God's Acre. Sponsors many educational, environmental and social projects. Live animals, apple cidering and maple sugaring are among the top favorites. Summer camp extends unique nature adventure to children through eleventh grade. Through its affiliation with the New York Botanical Garden and the Wilton Continuing Education Program, the Nature Center provides a number of horticultural classes.

• God's Acre: Purchased in 1733 as a burial ground for Canaan Parish.
• Wayside Cross: World War I Memorial
• Congregational Church : Erected in 1843
• St. Michael's Church : Erected in l834
• New Canaan Historical Society
• Town House : First Town Hall built in l825. Today it houses the society's office, library, Costume Museum and the Cody Drug Store. An archival addition was dedicated in 1998.
• Hanford Silliman House : Built in 1764, the house is furnished with period pieces and includes a tavern, craft room and doll collection.
• John Rogers Studio : was built in 1777 and currently houses a representative collection of the l9th century sculptor's work.
• Rock School : built in 1799 and now located on Historical Society was saved from the bulldozers by New Canaan's school children in 1973.
• Early Connecticut Saltbox House : private residence erected in 1724
• Little Red School House : Built in l870 and is maintained by a neighborhood association.
• Ponus Monument : erected in l897 in honor of Chief Ponus, a Sagamore Indian from whom land was purchased in l640.
• Selleck Corners Church : built in l851 as a Methodist Church. Is available for weddings and baptisms.
